Hands and feet get more wear than the rest of the skin, and products for them tend to be richer: heavier creams, balms and repair treatments, plus small cuticle balms.
They are leave-on products, and hand creams in particular get reapplied many times a day, which makes the full ingredient list worth a read.
Reading the label
- Cuticle balms
- These are usually small, water-free blends of oils and waxes, close cousins of a lip balm.
- Repair claims
- Words like "repair" or "rescue" describe the brand’s intent for the product. The seal does not evaluate them.
